“Little-Rock Experience”

Years ago, painter Järnefelt and his artist friends found an inspirational picnic site on a cliff called “Pikku-Koli”. This cliff locates on the opposite shore of Onnela. Due to that, our Little Rock Experience begins with church boat rowing. On “Little-rock” the group has a nature-path or a faster GPS- tournament to choose from. The team with most points wins!

Duration: 2 - 3 hours


GPS Secrets of the Lake Tuusula

Group will be divided to small teams. Teams must search checkpoints around Onnela Inn area using GPS devices. When finding checkpoints teams must answer questions or carry out given tasks. Knowledge and team work skills are crucial to succeed in this game.

Duration: 1 - 1,5 hours (depending on group size and wishes.)

Walking with the historical Finnish artists

Guided tour by feet takes your group to the world of Tuusula’s famous artists. While walking or Nordic walking in the beautiful nature you will hear stories about these famous artists who lived in the area.

Traditional games

Groups of 4 – 8 competing in the traditional Finnish playful games.

For example: darts, tug of war, boot throwing and throwing pin “Mölkky”

Duration: 1 – 2 hours

Includes four games.

Minimum charge: 10 persons.

Church boat rowing

Church boat rowing by the lake Tuusulanjärvi. While rowing you will hear stories about our magnificent artists from the golden ages.

Duration: 1 – 2 hours

Max. 14 persons per boat (+ guide).


Canoeing trip by the lake Tuusulanjärvi with our professional guides keeping you updated of the surroundings and the cultural history of Tuusula.

Duration: 1 – 2 hours

Notice! You can mix church boat rowing and canoeing – when one part of the group is canoeing the other one is rowing on a church boat.

Lapland “wilderness” skills

Competing in groups and solving different kind of tasks. For example how to light a fire or testing your orienteering skills.

Duration: 1 – 2 hours
Minimum charge: 10 persons
